These are the Rules of Classic. Punishment for the infringement of each of these rules can vary from a warning to a ban depending on the severity. After three warnings, you will be banned from the site.
Rule 1: Respect is required from every member of Classic. Insulting any member, regardless of their position on the site, is unacceptable. Whilst voicing your opinion in a debate, keep it civil - don't allow a debate to turn into a fight. Punishment may result in a warning or a ban, depending on severity.
Rule 2: You must be 13 years old or older in order to be a member of Classic or any other Wikis by Wetpaint. Due to the COPPA Law no one under 13 is permitted be a member on Classic. This also applies to those outside of the United States, as Wetpaint is based in the United States. Any users who openly state that they are 12 years old or younger will be banned until they are old enough to rejoin the site.
Rule 3: Swearing isn't allowed on Classic as we cater to an audience whose majority is younger members. Prohibited words include, but are not limited to, damn, ass, hell, and pissed, as well as any abbreviations such as LMAO. Using bloody as an insult is prohibited due to its offensiveness to our British audience. Regarding the word hell: we allow that curse word to be used as a place. In context, as long as it is used as an opposition to heaven, it is acceptable. For instance, the reference, "go to hell," is completely unacceptable while the terms, "welcome to hell," or, "all hell will break loose," are acceptable. Punishment is dependent on the severity and can range from a warning to a ban.
Rule 4: Sexual content is prohibited. Any user uploading pictures or posting sexual content will be banned forever. This is a roleplay site for children. There is no tolerance by any member on this site for sexual, racial, or any discriminatory remarks. Any user with these statements will be banned.
Rule 5: Advertising can only be done on the advertising forum and your own profile. Any messages that are sent to users will be given one warning along with threads placed on the homepage. These will be moved to the advertising forum, if they have not already been placed within it and the user will be notified.
Rule 6: Please do not spam the members of Classic. Spamming includes mass unneeded editing of pages, and spamming threads. If you have a question about the contexts of spam, message an admin.
Rule 7: Only Clan leaders can use the suffix -star in their names. No cat can use the prefix Star-. Your Cat's name should come from an object or emotion that occurs in nature. Remember we are playing cats, they won't know what a car is.
Rule 8: Do not debate or argue religion or politics. Most of these discussions will spark a fight. Any user debating religion or politics will receive one warning, and the thread will be locked.
Rule 9: No god-mode while roleplaying. No creature can become immune or invincible to attacks, nor can a kit be able to take on a full grown warrior, and no cat is allowed to kill another without both roleplayer's permission. Do not roleplay someone else's cat without their written permission. No unnatural markings or symbols are allowed. Also, humans are only able to be roleplayed on your profile and in special festivals, all other creatures are not allowed unless given permission by a leader for a Clan plot.
Rule 10: Art theft is not allowed on Classic. To use image(s) and/or layout(s) made by other people, you must get permission from the creator and/or give the creator credit. If you get caught breaking this rule, you will get a warning, and you must remove the item within 24 hrs. Failure to remove it during that time will result in an administrator doing it for you.
Rule 11: Clan leaders are allowed to create joining restrictions and either themselves or their deputies must approve every cat before the cat is accepted. The reason for denial of a cat can be for any reason at a leader's discretion.
Rule 12: Banned Members who committed Minor Offenses on Classic can be given the opportunity to serve a probation period. Minor Infractions on Classic include; advertising, god-moding, the usage of minor swears, the usage of less offensive remarks and sporadic spamming. If a banned member who committed one of these Minor Offenses asks to be unbanned, the Staff Members would discuss the possibility of granting this user the opportunity to serve a probation period. If a majority of our Staff Members agree, the banned member would be unbanned. During probation, the Member can't break the rules. Any broken rule will result in an immediate and permanent ban. If the member isn't assigned a single warning during their probation period, they would be unbanned and assigned one warning. Every redeemed member would receive one warning after probation, no exceptions. This warning is put in place in order to remind every member of their previous offenses to Classic
Rule 13: Coding and embedding pictures or any sort of unorthodox lettering within threads is not acceptable on Classic seeing as it violates the Wetpaint Terms Of Service to use the application that makes it possible to do so. Any user caught using the program in threads will only get one warning for this rule. If a user persists to use the unorthodox letterings and embeds for pictures in threads after the first warning they will be banned.
Rule 14: Users that already have leadership positions cannot go and tryout for another leadership position without having stepped down from the position they already have first. The same goes for users that already have medical positions.
Classic's Rules were originally written by walrusworldstudios, a former administrator, and they have been revised, edited, and added to by the staff.

Neonluma~ Kits to Apprentices 1 May 11 2013, 9:47 AM EDT by Whitemuzzle
Thread started: Apr 30 2013, 1:23 AM EDT  Watch
I could not find this anywhere on the site so here I am.

How long does it take in real time for kits to become apprentices? A month? 3 months? Or is it depending on the activity of the roleplayer of the kit?

Thank you

Surgi Question Rule wise (opinions are welcome, but NOT debating) 5 Apr 8 2013, 6:59 PM EDT by Vulpixkit

(This is COMPLETELY being asked because I am just curious as to the presidents when it comes to this. If this breaks any rules please give me a warning and I swear to Starclan to never bring it up again)

Are any cats in any clan allowed to be homosexual? Or at least, not interested in their opposite gender. The reason I'm asking is: are we not already advancing some of Erin Hunter's ideas? I'm not saying they have to be actual mates, but can threads be created in hopes for (example) two toms to have a love connection?
I am also thinking for members who are afraid to be themselves in real life, maybe this could help them.
THIS IS ALL JUST AN IDEA. Please no hate. I have no quarrel with anyone who has a different opinion.
