Classic Rules & Regulations

Upon your third infraction of the classic rules, you'll be banned from the site. Three strikes, you're out.
Rule 1: Respect is demanded from every member for every member of Classic. Do not insult the moderators or the administrators of Classic. Insulting their hard work is disrespectful and will not be tolerated. Don't insult the members of Classic, either. After all, they are the heart and soul of this site. Without them, there would not be a site. If a debate is posted on the site, please remain civil while voicing your opinion. Don't allow a debate to erupt into an argument. Punishment may result in a warning or a ban, depending on the severity of the affair.
Rule 2: No cussing. This includes any swear word or phrase that is considered rude. Damn, Hell, and Pissed are classified as swear words. Abbreviations cannot be used. Any other vulgar word is prohibited. If any user is caught using an offensive remark, punishment can range from a warning to a ban, depending on the severity.
Rule 3: Uploading sexual content to Classic is prohibited. Any member caught posting, uploading, screening, or roleplaying sexual content will be immediately banned from Classic. The ban is permanent and will not ever be revoked, not even by probation. Every alternate account that is connected to this user will also be banned.
Rule 4: Please do not advertise sites, products or services anywhere other than the advertising forum or your profile. Advertising is defined as any Member persuading another Member to view, or join, an online website. The presence of a link in any advertising message no longer matters. You can't ask a member to help you with your website by sending them a message. Essentially, advertising through messages is strictly forbidden. There is one exception to this rule. Advertising a picture, a video, or any other form of media is permitted on classic. Punishment may result in a warning or a ban, depending on the severity of every specific advertising infraction.
Rule 5: Do not send spam to the moderators, administrators, or any member of Classic. Spam messages are annoying and rude. Spam is classified as an irrelevant, insignificant, or inconsequential proclamation that's sent in a message or posted on the public forum. Every post needs substance, should not be redundant and should introduce new ideas or content. If any member clogs anyone's inbox with spam, one warning will be assigned.
Rule 6: Please don't beg for a position as a moderator or administrator. If you beg for a position, there is less of a chance that you will ever be promoted. If you vigorously beg for a position, you will receive one warning.
Rule 7: You cannot appoint yourself to a special position (leadership or medical). On Classic, you have to be appointed to the position by one of the individual Clan Leaders. You cannot create your own Clan on Classic. If you create an unofficial clan, the RP thread will be locked & every participant will be assigned one warning.
Rule 8: Only Clan Leaders may use the suffix 'star' in their warrior cat's name. For example, the Clan Leader of NightClan must name their cat, Demonstar. However, a warrior in NightClan cannot be named Precioustar. In addition, no member is allowed to use the prefix "star" in their warrior cat's name. For example, you cannot name your warrior cat Starsearcher, Starpaw, or Starkit. Your cat's name should not derive from a man-made product. Your warrior cat's name should derive from an emotion, sensation, or an object that occurs naturally.
Rule 9: Please do not talk, argue or debate religion and politics. Discussing any political or religious aspect in a public thread will inevitably spark a fight. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but please keep these beliefs to yourself. Punishment may result in the thread being locked, and a warning being assigned to all participants.
Rule 10: No God-mode. Cats can't become immune or invincible to attacks. If God-mode is roleplayed, the user involved will receive a warning. Warrior Cats aren't allowed to have special markings or symbols on their body. If this occurs, the member will receive a warning from one of the Staff Members. Our Members are not allowed to roleplay another member's cat without their consent. If you haven't received permission to roleplay or kill another member's cat, please refrain from doing so. If you break this rule, you will receive one warning.
Rule 11: The Staff Members have no tolerance for any and all discriminatory, racist, sexist and inappropriate remarks. Any discriminatory remark will be deleted, and the poster will be banned from here. No exceptions.
Rule 12: The Staff Members condone the roleplaying of homosexual couples. However, make sure that your Homosexual Roleplay is appropriate for all audiences to see. If Homosexuals Couples are being roleplayed in an inappropriate manner, each user involved will be assigned one warning. Heterosexual Couples are required to adhere to similar standards. Every clan is expected to create their own policies regrading the acceptance of both homosexual couples and apprentice pregnancies. These policies can be found on the "Clan News Page".
Rule 13: The Staff Members allow the roleplaying of warrior cats and humans. However, Human Roleplay is limited to profile threads only. Swearing, Sex, and Drugs are prohibited in all forms of Roleplay. If any Human Roleplay is leaked onto Classic's Discussion Forum, the thread will be locked, and all participants will receive one warning. Warrior Cat RP is tolerated in every section of Classic. Any other form of roleplay is prohibited.
Rule 14: Banned Members who committed Minor Offenses on Classic can be given the opportunity to serve a probation period. Minor Infractions on Classic include; advertising, god-moding, the usage of minor swears, the usage of less offensive remarks and sporadic spamming. If a banned member who committed one of these Minor Offenses asks to be unbanned, the Staff Members would discuss the possibility of granting this user the opportunity to serve a probation period. If a majority of our Staff Members agree, the banned member would be unbanned. During probation, the Member can't break the rules. Any broken rule will result in an immediate and permanent ban. If the member isn't assigned a single warning during their probation period, they would be unbanned and assigned one warning. Every redeemed member would receive one warning after probation, no exceptions. This warning is put in place in order to remind every member of their previous offenses to Classic.
Rule 15: In general, submission stealing is prohibited on Warrior Cat Clans 2 Classic. However, the usage of defined submissions is permitted, with regulations attached. Before you upload any submission to Classic, you must ask the original creator for permission. If you don't receive permission from the creator, it is forbidden to use their submission. Once you've received permission to use the submission, you must also provide credit for the original creator. There is one exception to this rule. Some Images are deemed as Free-Use Images. These images must be credited, but you don't need permission from the original creator. On Classic, submissions are defined as an image, banner, story, poem, or anything related to one of the previous items. The punishment for submission stealing is always one warning. In addition, you'll be expected to remove the submission from your possession. Refusal to comply will result in an Administrator removing the stolen submission from your profile.

This is generally something that annoys me to the core. Several new members join just to advertise, and it ticks me off so bad. They don't even do it on their profile, they just send out some message to people with sad stories to try and get them to join.

Do members receive warnings for doing this?
