List of warriors - You know when you click on a Clan, and in the navigation-bar-thing on the left of the screen, there's a list under the page you're currently on? There should be a page titled something along the lines of "Members" or "Members of SunClan" or whatever. That's got a list of every cat in the Clan. ^^

Acceptance - Most Clans have a joining thread. Post there in the correct format, and most likely you'll be accepted into the Clan. Then you can start to roleplay. :D

Age of cat - Your cat will slowly grow up. There's no thing that says "Soandsopaw is seven moons, eight days old" but every so often there will be ceremonies, where a bunch of cats will be moved up in rank. ^^

Being an MC - If you go to the Discussion forum, there's usually a featured thread in the little box that will say something like "WaterClan MCA Try-outs" or something along those lines. Follow everyone else's example, and do whatever it says you need to do. xD. You probably won't be picked the first time, but if you keep trying out, you're bound to get a position sooner or later. 8D

Becoming a warrior - You can straight out join as a warrior, or you can join as a kit, then your cat will slowly grow to become a warrior. :3

All I'm goin to say is, Think of the school playground, when we were all little kids. When there was the new kid in school, if /everyone/ ran up to them to greet them and beg for them to play with them, they would feel more uncomfortable than if people just left them alone. (Which that hardly ever happens with kids) The lesson behind all that? If you crowd new members with a full inbox the moment they arrive, they'll be frightened off instead of invited, like you think.

And there are plenty of "open" rp threads that are for everyone, which includes newer members. We have to remember everything we all do is a two-way street. If you want someone to open up to you (in this case, if the new members what to be included.) they have to be willin to make the effort to be included. That's the issue with the new generation. Y'all want the silver spoon handed to ya without movin a muscle. (Yes I just admitted that I'm old)
