Creating a Cat
To check which Clans are open for joining, go to the Warrior Cat Clans page. All the Clans and Groups on the site are listed on this page, along with who their leaders and deputies are, and whether or not they are open for joining. Follow each Clan's instructions to join - you will either have to reply to a joining thread, or message the leader or deputy with a joining request.

Each Clan has a different minimum number of sentences per cat biography (often shortened to "bio"). Generally, this is somewhere between 3 and 7 sentences. When creating your cat, try to describe what they look like - keeping in mind you have to have a cat with realistic coloring - their likes, dislikes, and a little of their history. Remember to follow the guidelines that will be provided on the thread, and that you are not allowed to create cats with names that have been used in the books by Erin Hunter.

A staff member of that Clan will add your cat if it has no problems. Then you can roleplay!

NB: some Clans allow you to roleplay before your cat is added. Check with the leader if you are uncertain.
Roleplaying
First go to one of the pages of the Clan your cat is a member of. Scroll down to the bottom where there is a dialogue box for you to type in. Add in the subject of your roleplay post, and in the "message" section, type in your roleplay. Remember to RP in third person - that is, to use your cat's name instead of saying "I" - and try to add description to your post. Write what your cat is doing, where they are, and why they are there. Then click the "post" button to post your thread.

Brightfeather

Brightfeather is a white she-cat with long fur and bright blue eyes. She is a very loyal she-cat, and would sacrifice her life for her Clan and her friends. Brightfeather enjoys hunting in the forest, and will tag onto the end of any hunting patrol she can. Chatting with the elders is another hobby of hers, and she loves hearing their stories. Brightfeather hates foxes because her brother was killed by one when they were still apprentices. If she ever comes across a fox, she will not hesitate to attack it.
RP Post:
Brightsnow pounced on the mouse, killing it with a blow of her paw. A purr of satisfaction came to her throat. Another successful hunt! Hopefully this would help in restocking SunClan's freshkill pile. She dropped her prey on the ground, and scraped a little dirt over it to hide it from sight. She could come back for it later - there was more hunting to do. She looked around, scenting the air for more prey.
