![]() _____________________________________________ Things You Need: - Any version of Photoshop. - The images you want to use ready. I prefer using sobi.org or deviantART. - Brushes, if you would like them. There are many good brush sets on deviantART. - Textures, unless you want your image to have a more natural look, or a tone, like sepia. You can get great textures from swimchick.net. |

Create a new file. An ideal size for banners on here is 700 by 300, in my opinion, but using a bigger or smaller size is just fine. ![]() |

Do you?
Copy / paste the photos you picked out into the banner file. You can paste them by pushing CTRL and V at the same time, or you can go to Edit>Paste. I will be using 3 images in this. Also, make sure every picture is on a different layer. ![]() |

Align and adjust the images to your liking. I have hidden one of the pictures so that you can see that I have them in the banner file. ![]() |

Erase the edges until it looks like the image is blended. Make sure to use a soft brush. If you are wondering how I got the white cat to fade into the picture, I had erased everything around it and set it on multiply. ![]() ![]() |

Do you?
Get a texture from swimchick.net and put it over all of the layers. Set it on whatever mode you think fits your banner, multiply and overlay usually work out the best. I used two textures on mine. ![]() |

Thanks for using this tutorial. Please do not steal the banners that I made in the process of it, I won't be too happy if I figure out you've stolen something from me. Also, feel free to post comments, concerns, and questions if you have any. |

Yep. Gimp is just as good as Photoshop. If you don't have photoshop, I think it's the closest thing you will get to it. (:.
