In the dead of night...~Nightdream14 only

In the dead of night a lone soul marches on towards what she didn't know. A brown ball of fur traveled the countryside and soon turned into a shadow as the moon began to climb into the sky. Green eyes were like headlights in the night as she trekked on into the night. Lately Sukai had become restless and she decided to walk, getting farther and farther from home the longer she walked but she didn't care. Tired bones finally stopped her in her tracks on the border of Pondclan and area that was disputed and not claimed. She was too tired to smell the other clan so she curled up close to the border and kept one eye open as she began to rest her weary bones.

Fur flashed in the trees and leaves rustled, a warning growl pitched low. Shockstrike, a strong, large tom. Watched with large eyes. Trained on the mysterious she-cat

Her ears pricked up at the growl and she stood up on shaky feet to defend herself. Sukai wasn't ever this weak but lately she had been restless and not sleeping. "Who're you?" her thick accent cut through the silence in the air and reached the toms ears.

Shockstrike emerged slowly, melting from the shadows. "I'm Shockstrike. PondClan warrior, and currently I'm looking at a strange cat I'm all to tempted to chase away."

Sukai's green eyes blinked and her tail lashed softly as she strode forward to stand right near him to where she could fully inspect his eyes. "Only if I were to let you would you be able to. My name's Sukai. Venomclan gladiator." her green gaze seemed to hold something powerful but it vanished as she looked away and stepped back. "I am not on the border nor do I plan on being on it." she had began to pick up the scent and thought it strange.

His dark amber eyes narrowed, they were glowing softly in the moonlight, "why are you here?" He demanded, but his voice was curious and actually very cheerful all of a sudden.

Sukai tipped her head to the side as if listening for a voice on the wind. "I've become restless lately and went for a walk, vowing not to stop until I can't go any further." her deep green gaze penetrated his as she said this.

Shockstrike smirked, "well then you need to keep going don't you?" He nodded into PondClan territory. All hostility gone from his eyes. They looked much softer and happier now.

Sukai backed up a few inches unsure of what to do. The only cat's that had ever been kind to her were her clanmates and they weren't normally kind as it is. "Standing hurts my feet." she looked down at her legs that were shaking. She wasn't sure why she was letting him see this side of her. Maybe it was because Sukai was tired of running from herself. Deep down she wasn't as evil as she always acted.

Sukai sighed and looked away from him. "Venomclan is far from here. Don't know if I could make it back tonight." Sukai looked back into his eyes and timidly stepped forward.

Sukai shook her head and looked towards a tree out of the territory. "I'll stay there." she pointed. "I won't trespass not in this condition. I have no way to defend myself." Sukai's accent was as strong as ever despite her fatigue.

"Others aren't as nice as me." He warned, "don't get spotted by cats like Neverlove and Lilywhisper, they're likely to try and flay you, no matter what border you are on."

Sukai scoffed a little. "Don't worry about me dear. I am never this nice I'm just tired. Under all of this soft fur there is a killer." she looked away as her eyes had a sad edge to them.

Shockstrike nodded, "I'm sure. But Neverlove is a killer too. His father was a muderous rouge who killed quite a few cats, and he trained Neverlove to do the same. He fights against it, but he doesn't fight to chase away. Just stay away from any PondClan cats, it'd be a shame if you got hurt."

Sukai nodded and looked in the direction of the tree behind her. "Would you stay with me?" she looked down at her paws. Her heart was tugging towards this tom but she didn't want to admit it. "I-I don't want to be alone while I'm like this."

Sukai looked down in confusion towards her stomach. "I'm not really sure. I was a while ago but not now." her confusion shown in her eyes and she thought that maybe she was sick.
