Wilted Roses Are Still Beautiful... [CC]

Alexandria walked through the swamp, halting to find the only rose bush in the whole territory. It's withered rose petals had turned from a deep red to a soft brown. She sniffed the air, the scent of old roses filled the area. /How strange../ Alexandria's swamp green eyes looked around. /I'm still on CrowClan territory. Why are roses growing in the swamp?/She took a step forward, unsure of the wilted roses. Approaching them, they reminded Alexandria of herself. Withered and cold, but still alive and beautiful inside. "Why are you here?" She whispered half to herself and half to the rose bush. Do you find this valuable?

"I suppose the bush could ask you the same thing?" Takeshi mused, his large figure appearing from right behind Alexandria.Takashi stepped up to sniff the roses carefully, his chains around his neck jingling blissfully. "Roses are rare around here?" He asked, seeing many bushes before when he lived as a rouge with his brother. Do you find this valuable? |

Alexandria slightly growled, not comfortable with two toms she didn't know. /If the wilted roses could talk, they'd share the same story as I do./ "Roses aren't supposed to live here in the marshlands. They belong in the Clans; SpringClan';s territory."She looked back at Takeshi, uneasy with him so close, then she turned her attention towards Takashi. Both looked somewhat alike, but their attitudes seemed worlds apart. Do you find this valuable? |

Mousy padded through the territory, quite content until he heard others speaking. Nine times out of ten that was what ruined his hunting and being as small as he was it was already hard work. He approached the noise to see what all the fuss was about. A thorny bush with withered flowers much to his disappointment. The prowler gave the trio a disapproving stare with his pale blue eyes.

Alexandria looked towards Mousy as he approached and gave him a look of disappointment as well. The bush had seemed so much like her inside that when he showed disappointment, it made her do so as well. But I guess not everybody can relate and know the meaning behind some things.

She snarled. "You might want to watch yourself there hun." Alexandria's voice was bitter and cold. Turning to Takashi, she again had an internal thought. /How are you related to him? You guys are SO different./ Even though there were two toms against just herself, Alexandria was ready to fight them if she had to. Scarlet roses always die.

Takashi narrowed his eyes at his twin brother accusingly."You need to shut your mouth." Takeshi hissed, unsheathing his claws. His younger brother sat down, not having anything to do with this. Do you find this valuable? |

Mousy was irritated by the aggression between his clanmates. The small tom squinted his pale blue eyes and stepped back. "This no help," he meowed.

Alexandria was done with this tom's attitude. Unsheathing her claws, she snarled. "Why don't you come over here and /make/ me?" Glaring at Takeshi, she stood where she was.

She snarled and unsheathed her claws. "Come over here and make me." Alexandria was done with this tom's attitude and going to rip his stuck up throat out. Or maybe the flashy rings around it...

Takashi glanced at Mousy, a small smile on his face. Surely this tom wouldn't let his overworked brother get to him? True, he did seem small, but he'd have many other advantages too. Mousy glared at Takashi. The overly bright attitude of his was beginning to annoy him. The prowler looked pointedly away, a clear sign that he was intent on ignoring him.

Alexandria growled with pleasure. "Actually, that's not weak. He's defending someone else." She was ready to tear this tom's stuck-up pelt off, but she wanted to see if it was just a front first. /Stupid toms. You've never met me and you think you're stronger than I./ Alexandria's claws sunk deeper into the earth, sliding easily into the soft marsh ground.
