Moondust knew they had no medicine cat, but she knew that she should bite on a stick when kitting, she had learned that from a former friend.Moondust grabbed the stick near the Fresh-kill pile and bite down hard on it as she felt Lionkit kick.She pushed with all her strength and bit down on the stick hard and soon Lionkit was born.

Lionkit mewled struggling for breathe. He soon started to breathe. He put his face in his paws and stretched out his hind legs.

Wishkit squeaked as she came into the world, a cold breeze blowing against her, she shivered. She gulped in a deep breath of air and mewed.
