Alone in a Crowded Room [Finalists Only]

Ok, so basically what's going to happen is Skyblossom is taking them on a walk to the edge of Rubyclan territory at dark. They will hear a small kit like voice as Petalkit will walk out of the shadows scared and alone. When they ask her if she came alone she will tell you that there are 4 other kit's along with her missing. Regalkit, Orionkit, Musekit and Knightkit. It's up to you guys to find the kits and return them back to Rubyclan! Skyblossom overheard her voice as Prince Hawk called out the names of the Finalists, Zerogravity, Spectralmist, Rainbowdash, and Monotonousfur. His gaze rested upon Skyblossom "Skyblossom, because of your former experience as Queen of Rubyclan, i intrust your opinion and wish you to lead them to the borders edge." Skyblossom nodded respectfully before watching Prince Hawk bound into the forest slinking into the shadows unseen and unheard. Skyblossom called out "Are you ready to go?" Do you find this valuable?

Sorry I couldn't reply earlier!]Ears pricked from when Prince Hawk called out her name, Spectralmist could pick out a few words the prince said to...Skyblossom? //What do those two want at this hour?// she thought, slightly annoyed, then slightly shook her head. Being so close to Crusader, she couldn't think like that. Even being a loyal RubyClan cat she couldn't let those thoughts invade that precious item known as a mind. "The border's edge" she had picked up. //Why? What's at the border's edge? Is it some test or something?// wondered Spectralmist curiously. Tentatively she advanced toward Skyblossom, nodding her head in a respectful hello. Do you find this valuable? |

I am /so/ sorry! I've been working on a school project and couldn't reply. But hey, I'm here now! c:]Monotonousfur's ears pricked as he heard his name being called. With long, graceful strides, he caught up to the cat who had called out his name. He dipped his head in a respectful greeting and looked around, spotting Spectralmist and Skyblossom. At the mention of being led to the border's edge, he couldn't help but let out a big, toothy grin of delight. Monotonousfur always enjoyed looking over the borders and making sure that everything was in order. "It's fine, Skyblossom." His deep, polite meow rang through the air. "I don't mind being here. It'll give me something to do." Though he also had a feeling that this had to do with the Crusader, too, Monotonousfur didn't show it. He stood up straight and held his head high, but that was only normal for the tom. Do you find this valuable? |

[Tis okay with me c:]Her head turned quickly, earning a bit of pain from the whiplash of the sudden movement. Oh, just Monotonousfur, nothing too scary like say, a fox or badger. Spectralmist couldn't say she was known for cleverness or a brain, so no thoughts crossed her mind about this being about Crusader, although the currently clueless she-cat was fully aware of that fact. She kept her mouth shut, planning to keep it that way for most of the trip, to avoid saying something stupid or embarrassing. Her tail flicked to and fro out of pure boredom, paws itching to explore to the egde of the border with the others. Do you find this valuable? |

Monotonousfur looked up at the sky, then down at his paws. He wasn't sure what to do, and didn't really want to say anything in fear that he'd sound dumb.

Zerogravity lifted her head from the mouse she was eating and stood, quickly padding over to the former queen, " 's all good" she said in her angelic voice before shaking out her silver dappled midnight pelt, suddenly worry filled her innocent baby blue eyes, "Did something happen?" she heard herself question softly before she could keep the question to herself

The toirteshell she-cat unwrapped herself from her tight ball and stood up. She stretched her muscles rippling under her muliticolored fur. Her green eye's sparkled she knew why she was being called and she couldn't wait to start. weaving her way gracefully around her clanmate's in their own nest's she reached the den entrance ducking under it she stopped in the bright light of the morning she blinked a few time's getting used to the light and shook her head. Bounding forward she dipped her head " Hello" she meowed .

Spectralmist sighed, nodding hello to Zerogravity and Rainbowdash a little tiredly. The yawning she-cat loved the nighttime, but only when she had a good nap, so during this odd trip she'd probably be a little cranky. Can't please everyone. Spectralmist stretches luxuriously, hearing a little crack as a result, and stood, ready to go now that everyone was here. She'd been strangely silent the entire time, and hopefully she'd lighten up soon.

[Ok! Cool! :D]Skyblossom nodded when everyone gathered "Let's head out." she meowed trotting out of camp with ears and eyes alert. Skillfully she skirted through the trees as if it came naturally to her. Which it did. Suddenly she heard a squeel of what seamed to be like a kit. Skidding to a halt pinning her ears back. Do you find this valuable? |

Zerogravity's ears pricked at the sound of the high pitch squeal, 'what is a kit doing this far from camp' she thought to herself as she dropped into a crouch and slowly crept forward, her mouth open to identify the scent of either her clanmate or a stranger. She felt worry flood her as she instantly recognized the scent of her clan, her overprotective instints kicked in as she instantly felt the need to protect the little one, just as the clan had done for her, though she must not have been around this particular kit long enough to know specific scent

Spectralmist jumped at the sudden noise; she had been too busy looking around curiously and inspecting the territory to be aware a supposed kit was near. Aren't the little cats supposed to stay inside the camp? Spectralmist thought, just a wee bit annoyed, before coming to realize that this could be a kit that wandered from a different clan or group. That thought canceled out her previous feeling and replaced it with a slight sense of worry and feat, some for the kit and some that this could be a ploy or trap.

Rainbowdash stoped, dropped into a crouch her motherly instinc and the safety 9of ay kit rushed through her. Her jaws were opened tossing the scents of woods and the clanmates beside her away for a sharp scent of kit. She could taste the kit smell vivedxly like there was more than one. Her tail tip flcikered uneasily and she loked at the cats around her noticing they react the same as she did.

Monotonousfur stiffened as a shrill squeal shattered the silence of the forest. It hurt his ears and made him want to panic. Was a clanmate in danger? Surely it was a young cat! If this was the case, the tom would do everything in his power to help it out. Following wherever the noise came from, he cautiously--yet in a hurried way--tried to find a scent. "Ah," he muttered, catching a bit of the young cat's scent. Anxiety pricked at his paws. Monotonousfur got very close. He heard another whimper.

Eyeing her companions, Spectralmist sniffed to find the scent of a kit. She inched forward a tiny bit, not even thinking to slide her claws out because she was that cautious. A kit, she was almost positive, had made that sound. She'd never had kits; no maternal, protective instinct filled her much, but seeing a little kit sad or lost tugged at her heartstrings.

Zerogravity silently crept into the bush and softly herded the small kit back out with her nose, wrapping her tail protectively around the young one, the midnight black and silver speckled she-cat watched the tiny one with her angelic blue eyes, her soft purring a soothing and constant sound, creating a calming effect

Monotonousfur noticed as Zerogravity found the kit. He purred and sat down beside the two, eyeing the young one. "I wonder why it squealed? I hope there isn't any danger near, and that it was just scared and alone. Not that it's a good thing, but it's better than a dog or something, right?" He bent down and tried to comfort the kit by licking its forehead and letting a deep, comforting purr rumble from his chest.

A little nervousness was the first thing Spectralmist felt when she saw the frightened little kit; she loved kits normally but they found this kit out in the territory and also she didn't know this kit. "Uh...little kit..." she stuttered speaking those words, wondering if the little cat could or would even speak back. Doubtful. "Do...are you lost, or..." she trailed off, laying next to Monotonousfur to be at more of a kit's eye level. Spectralmist figured maybe Skyblossom or anyone but Spectralmist herself should do the talking.
