Serenity watched her reflection ripple in the small swamp pool, her silver eyes filled with stars. Moonlight shone down on her sleek blue-grey pelt, making it appear as a dazzling speckled platinum coat. She placed a delicate paw in the icy water, small shivers cascading down her spine like a thinning waterfall. Serenity sighed, closing her eyes for a brief moment before hearing a startling rustle of the leaves behind her. The tabby she-cat jumped to her paws, breathing irregular. " Who's there?" she called, her heart drumming painfully against her chest. A swift shadow emerged from the trees, lunging for the cat's throat. Crimson splattered everywhere, as the limp form of Serenity lay unmoving on the red blades of grass. Her once adventurous eyes that held so much bright optimism, now glazed over with the acrid scent of death. The attacker fled, leaving a bloody massacre in Crowclan territory.... Would she ever be avenged?

Cobra came upon the tangy scent of blood. He ran towards the scent and saw Serenity laying lifeless on the ground blood pooling around her he gasped. Anger in his eyes. Who did this?

A small, orange tabby she-cat had seen what had happened, and her breath caught in her throat. Yet another Clanmate gone. Dead in front of her eyes. And she was nearly powerless to stop it... nearly. With a growl, Heart followed after the shadow that had murdered Serenity. /It must be a rogue,/ she thought to herself. /But... why would a rogue attack a CrowClan cat in their own territory?/

The tabby stopped in her tracks, red eyes skimming the bare trees and swampy fields if the territory. "Come out, come out, wherever you are," she grumbled.

It wasn't long til the scent of blood had hit his nose. There was Blitz, out on a walk, when Crowclan could be smelled from yards away. The tom let out a huff, figuring it was just some bad fight. He trotted in the direction of the smell, but when he stumbled upon the dead cat, he drew in a sharp breath of shock. He looked from Cobra to Heart, questions showing in his eyes. He did not think that they had committed this crime. No sane cat would do that. His head lowered down, his eyes looking from side to side, preparing for whatever happened to be out there.

Bash was pelting through the territory when the smell blood assaulted his senses. He didn't run towards the blood he followed the faint traces towards the one who spilled it. Catching movement in the corner of his eyes he put on a sudden burst of speed trying to catch up.

Raquel had seen Bash and, as curiosity killed the cat. followed in just as stead-fast, even though she was slower, and wouldn't be able to pace up next to him. Rammy jumped through the tree's. She was slower than usual, not to upset her unborn children. She got to the scene, being closer than some of the others. She looked down, but didn't focus long, since she heard the sound of two, maybe three other cats moving. She jumped through the trees getting an aerial look. "Cobra! Heart!" She called down, catching up to them. "Who killed Serenity?"

Flinching in surprise, the tabby turned her gaze up to Rammy. "We're not sure," she replied. "He's like a shadow; we couldn't get a good look at him before he took off!"

Rammy looked up and danced on the tree limbs, to get to the fight faster. Do you find this valuable? |
